“The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation.” – Henry David Thoreau
I think this quote is pretty popular one, I remember hearing it awhile back.
A Life Well Lived in PDX – a poem in my pocket, a picture in my head
“We can’t solve problems with the same ways in which we created them” – Albert Einstein
A very simple elegant and powerful quote, I like it.
“Does it feel like we’ve never been alive? Does it seem like we’ve only just begun?” – 30 Seconds To Mars
Yes. Every day I wake up I feel this way.
“Keep a poem in your pocket, a picture in your head
And you’ll never feel lonely, at night when your in bed.” – Todd Pitt
This is the first poem I ever wrote. I wrote it when I was in the second grade. My Mom gave the original paper poem back to me a few years back, so awesome that she saved it for me. This poem has become a mantra that I have gone back to as an adult.
“Beauty cannot be captured. It exists only for poetically tuned minds.” – Vladimir Kush
My favorite quote from my favorite artist and Russian romantic/natural surrealist painter Vladimir Kush.
