Hey Devon,
You are welcome, I felt it was an important to document and share it! All of the video and pictures I shot from that night is on Todd Pitt.com, flickr and vimeo as you see it. Like the article says it is all the raw footage unedited and the account exactly as I saw it. So no I did not see that particular part of the protest happen (though I did heard about it) and was not witness to that. If you do find that footage anywhere, please drop a comment with the link and I will update the article so others can reference it.

Morgan thanks so much! I hope that by being there and documenting exactly what I saw that the people of Portland will get a factual and accurate view of exactly how the events really unfolded that night. From what I have read about the event in the commercial media the events were not portrayed factually. But as a citizen with a camera and a social media platform (this site I built) I am empowered to change that by sharing my experience. The local news looking down on it does not help us understand why it happened, help us to learn from it, help us get a views of both sides of it or to make any informed decisions as citizens. Too often media is preoccupied with making a story or spinning a story to suit their views, not bringing the public what they really want...the facts. Maybe if we did get the facts we could then have a real intelligent debate about the issues at hand.
