One of the things I love doing in all of the spare time I don’t have is collecting & playing classic plastic – Nintendo (NES) / Super Nintendo (SNES) Games. There is something about owning and playing original classic plastic that is completely airwolf. It’s not just some nostalgic throwback to my childhood, these games were very stylized & have a distinct feel to them.

When these games were produced game designers had pretty rigid constrains (programming languages / memory / graphics / sound) so they had do more & be more creative with less. Though I love the advances in technology (obviously I am social media strategist / computer nerd) having too little constraints can lead to game designers doing way more then they need simply because they have the ability to. Inevitably, creativity gives way to excessive swooshyness & not enough substance. END OF 8 BIT TIRADE.

Eventually my goal is to collect every game ever made. Hey you can’t blame a guy for trying If anyone feels like making my day, week, month or year -  you can purchase games from my “HIT LIST” on the cheap from eStarland online or other such used / classic game stores.
