Noctilucence is the aesthetic alchemy of Kyoko Kobayashi’s music/animation and Todd Pitt’s photography/guitar.
The video draws on the process of reconstructing fragmented moments, such as those experienced in the recollection
of memories, impressions, and dreams. Still images of clouds are transmuted into a swirl of ethereal noctilucence.
Electric-Acoustic guitar sounds are transformed to explore the space between a physical gesture and the sonic possibilities
of natural/processed resonances.
