A Life Well Lived in PDX – a poem in my pocket, a picture in my head
As many of you know I am somewhat obsessed with various aspects of photography, one of which being images of clouds & skies. So I have been shooting the what I see here in the beautiful skies of Portland. This is the first in what I hope will be along series of photographs of what lies above here in PDX.
If you want to see the rest of the world, just stop & look up.

I have identified a few common themes & photographic preoccupations in my work so I am starting a few new series riffing on these themes, which I will be creating, contributing in the coming year. Also, I am still working on a naming system / names for the hundreds of cloud photos I take every year. I might update them later, numbers will have to work for now.

Clouds & skies are not always blue they can be black, gray, purple, pink, green, yellow they can be a whole kaleidoscope of color…ever changing.
Well here are some of the first results of me having a computer that I can actually work with & some decent photo editing software. Imagine that, actually being able to work?
Who knows what I might do now? Go to the moon? OK I admit it, I would rather be at a pdx coffee shop! Anyway here is the latest lego building block addition to my Abstract Photo Collection, these are my top three pics from the set.

As an added bonus I figured I would show an exclusive behind the scenes of some of my photo work which didn’t make it onto flickr by releasing two outtakes of photo’s here only on my blog. I did liked these two photos, but they got chopped on the final edit. You always hear of outtakes for movies, but almost never see them for photography. Thought I would do something different here.

Cyber Punk II (Technicolor), originally uploaded by Todd Pitt.
This is the a digital manipulation of a self portrait that I took of myself early this year which I have dubbed Cyber Punk II (Technicolor). I figured that since I am testing out some new functions in my latest carnation of my web presence, I would post my favorite recent self portrait.
